To enable the poor women to stand their own feet, Vanitha Canteen (Women’s Refreshment Stall) owned and operated by women, serve clean and healthy food at affordable price. This unique Canteen serve the twin purposes. While servicing the employees as well as beneficiaries with home made tasty food in a family environment, it is a vital source of subsistence for a group of women beneficiaries with reasonable income
Women's Diary Development Project
As substantial number of women beneficiaries are engaged in rearing milking cows, we are contemplating to organize a WEDD (Women’s Empowerment through Dairy Development) to make themselves the masters of their own destiny by eliminating the exploitation of the middlemen. Sponsorship and Partnership on this vital socio-economic venture will be appreciated
Rural BPO (Non-Voice Center)
IT Revolution and Bio-tech Advancement has been immensely benefited in the urban and Metropolitan areas, especially the young and educated youth. But the dream of our Ex-President Dr. Abdul Kalam, taking IT to the benefit of the rural masses, is still a distant dream. This can be attributed to many reasons, such as inadequate infrastructure, cost of technology, poor education, and above all, lack of positive mindset
Driving Empowerment
As part of women empowerment, young rural women beneficiaries are being trained to be safe and responsible drivers in their community. They shall be given financial assistance to buy vehicles to operate as local Taxi. SRI and SRI Vidhyalaya can be a meaningful source for business. Safe transportation of children at SRI Vidhyalaya can be entrusted to these women.
