Real Heroes National Award for Rural Development by
CNN-IBN and Reliance Industries
To comemorate the 60th Independence of India, CNN-IBN in partnership with Reliance Industries instituted Real Heroes National Award, and selected 24 persons across India in various fields, such as Health, Education, Sports, Environment, Rural Development etc. Dr. Prabhakar and SRI was selected for this prestigious Award in the category of Rural Development.
GOPIO Community Service Award
Dr. Prabhakar received GOPIO (Global Organization of People Indian Origin) Community Service Award 2010 from Honourable Minister of Overseas and Indian Affairs Mr. Vayalar Ravi for his dedication and commitment to the Indian community
Priya Darshini Indira Gandhi Award for Social Service
Dr. Prabahakar has been selected for the Priya Darshini Indira Gandhi Award – Awarded for Social Service by International Integrity Peace & Friendship Society, in memory of (late) Smt. Indira Gandhi.
